Multi-Million Dollar Car-Theft Ring Members Arrested in Virginia

Henrico, VA: The authorities in Virginia have arrested 4 North Carolina residents on grand theft charges.

In connection with a multi-million dollar car-theft operation that extended across multiple states, including Virginia, multiple individuals are facing prosecution.

The 8700 block of West Broad Street was the scene of a car theft from a company on March 15, 2023, according to a report to the Henrico Police.

In a news release on Tuesday, Henrico Police announced that, “After months of investigation and cooperation with law enforcement from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, detectives have apprehended multiple individuals linked to a multi-million dollar vehicle theft ring. These individuals are the primary suspects in connection with the larcenies that took place in Henrico County, Virginia.”

The four primary suspects in the larcenies on West Broad Street have been named by the police.

  • Deondre Deshawn Lowery, 25, of Kannapolis, N.C.
  • Trajan Dakel Mack, 23, of Charlotte, N.C.
  • Daquante Antwone Banks, 22, of Charlotte, N.C.
  • Samiyah Michelle McNeely, 20, of Charlotte, N.C.

The four individuals are facing charges of burglary and grand larceny.
