Michael Anthony Strahan was born on November 21, 1971 in Houston, Texas. He is the youngest of Louise and Gene Willie Strahan’s six children. Strahan’s family relocated to Mannheim, West Germany, when he was nine years old. He attended Mannheim American High School, a US Department of Defense Dependent High School in Germany.
His father moved him back to Houston over the summer between his junior and senior years of high school to live with his uncle Art, a former NFL player, so he could play football during the autumn semester.
