Philadelphia, Penn.: Officials in Philadelphia announced the arrest of three males, all teenagers, in connection with the horrific shooting that wounded eight high school students at a bus stop.
The foursome who allegedly opened fire on the Northeast High School students waiting to board the SEPTA vehicle last week were 18-year-olds Jamaal Tucker and Ahnile Buggs as well as 19-year-old Jermahd Carter, as reported by the city’s police and US Marshals. The gunfire lasted approximately thirty rounds.
The police have identified three of the suspects, but they have not yet identified the fourth.
The three masked gunmen shown on film getting out of a car, approaching the group of adolescents (ranging in age from 15 to 17), and then opening fire before running away are either the same men or someone else entirely.

As onlookers hurried to assist, the disturbing footage showed the students, their faces covered in blood, crying and holding their wounds. A 16-year-old guy was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being struck nine times; the other teens are all listed in stable condition.
According to a spokeswoman, Carter was taken into custody by US Marshals at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Friday after being held captive in the house of a relative. He was wanted on multiple offenses, including attempted murder and violations involving guns.
On Sunday, 25 federal agents began a sting operation that resulted in Buggs being handcuffed. They retrieved a fully automated and loaded one.40-caliber Glock that corresponded with projectiles discovered on the spot, according to the agency’s press release.
Up until Friday, when he surrendered to police in Philadelphia, only Tucker had so far turned himself up. Not long after authorities linked him to a discovered stolen car they believed was involved in the shooting, he was arrested.
Teen Charged With Homicide Charges After 4 People Were Shot Dead In Los Angeles Shooting
The bond for Tucker and Buggs is above $2 million, and they are facing charges such as attempted murder, aggravated assault, and others. Although they indicated that they knew who they were searching for, investigators did not divulge the identity of the fourth suspect.
There is still a lack of information regarding the case, particularly regarding the motives for the gunmen’s targeting of the high school students.
As passengers boarded a city bus, police were looking into the possibility that the incident was connected to the shooting death of a 17-year-old student at a charter school. A woman in her 70s was among four people who sustained injuries.
South Philadelphia’s Route 79 bus was the scene of a shooting the next day. A 27-year-old man was shot and killed on Sunday in the Oxford Circle district of Philadelphia after an argument broke out on a SEPTA bus.
