Mauldin, SC: Officials said Friday that deputies in Greenville County, South Carolina, used a search warrant to seize a lot of “dangerous drugs” from the streets.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office called the arrest “a major step forward in our ongoing fight against fentanyl in our community.”
Sheriff Hobart Lewis said in a social media post, “This seizure shows how important it is for us to keep working to protect our community from the terrible effects of drug abuse.”
Police say the search order was carried out at 101 Kenan Orchard Drive in Mauldin.
Sheriff’s officers said they found almost two pounds of fake pressed fentanyl pills, more than 20 grams of marijuana, more than $8,000 in cash that was being held illegally, and one gun that was being held illegally.
Deputies said that five people were taken during the seizure and are being charged with drug crimes, including trafficking fentanyl.
The following people were charged:
- Dominique Ikiyha Singletary, 31
- Rodney Lemont Carter, Jr., 38
- Roderick Antonio Moss, 35
- Kobie Angellina-Nicole Singletary, 22
- Darico Pierre Sussewell, 39
“We remain steadfast in our commitment to ridding dangerous drugs from the streets of Greenville County,” Lewis said. “We will not stop until all of these deadly substances are gone from our community.”
