Religious Leader of Shaman Community in California Arrested for Sexual Abuse of Multiple Victims

Authorities announced on Wednesday that a 60-year-old man in Riverside County has been arrested following accusations of sexual assault. Described as the “religious leader of a shamanistic community,” the man now faces legal consequences.

A news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department states that several individuals came forward to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station on Aug. 1 to report instances of sexual assault.

The incidents allegedly occurred at a residence located in the 26000 block of Sandi Lane and involved Ricardo Flores as reported by KTLA.

According to the RCSD detectives, they discovered that the alleged assaults took place in various locations within Riverside County.

A 60-year-old individual from Rialto was apprehended on August 7 while trying to reenter the United States from Mexico at the U.S. border.

“Flores was transported back to Riverside County and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for sexual assault and child sexual abuse,” the release stated.
