Multiple arrests on Drug Charges in Johnson County; Narcotics confiscated by authorities

In a crackdown on illicit substances in Johnson County, multiple law enforcement agencies ended a nine-month-long drug enforcement investigation on Wednesday by serving search warrants.

After months of planning, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office finally executed a massive narcotics operation, and on Wednesday night, they released a statement announcing the arrest of fifteen people on charges relating to the distribution of marijuana and methamphetamine.

Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin Police Department, and Greenwood Police Department were among the law enforcement organizations that took part in the investigation. The inquiry was helped by the United States Marshals Service, the Edinburgh Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and others, as stated in the JCSO announcement.

The following individuals were arrested on drug-related charges:

  • Douglas Ryan Cunnen (two level 4 felony charges of dealing in narcotic drug, misdemeanor charge of dealing in marijuana)
  • Justin Collins (level 3 felony for dealing in methamphetamine, a level 5 felony of dealing in a counterfeit substance)
  • Dylan L. Ridener (level 3 felony of dealing in a narcotic drug)
  • Kristi J. Moister (dealing in a schedule IV substance, dealing in a schedule I, II, or III substance)
  • Collis Sivels (level 4 felony of dealing in methamphetamine)
  • Carl Paul Woolwine II (a level 5 felony of dealing in methamphetamine)
  • Colby Smith (Conversion)

In an interagency effort to crack down on the distribution of illegal substances, JCSO reported that undercover narcotics officers served 32 search warrants.

Drug Traffickers Busted In Warren County, 2 Men Arrested By Police

According to JCSO, the stated persons were charged as part of this narcotics crackdown, and Johnson County Prosecutor Lance Hamner collaborated closely with the mentioned agencies to do so. Investigators have reported that seven of the detained persons were from Indianapolis, seven from Franklin, and one from Greenwood.
