Man Arrested after App Notified Cops of Child Abuse Material Transmission in Arizona; Worked as Food Vendor at Children Hospital

A man employed by a food service vendor at Phoenix Children’s Hospital has been apprehended on various charges connected to child sexual exploitation.

A 29-year-old man named Zackarie Parker Allbritton has been arrested and is now facing 10 charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
About a month ago, Kik, an instant messaging app, reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that one of its users had 23 files connected to child sexual abuse. The NCMEC later shared the information with the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children (AZICAC) Task Force.

Based on court documents, detectives successfully connected the Kik account to various social media accounts, ultimately identifying Allbritton as the suspect.

Investigators have discovered that Allbritton works for Sodexo, a third-party food vendor at Phoenix Children’s. Although he was not officially employed by the hospital, the staff confirmed that he did work in the building.

Investigators later executed a search warrant related to the individual’s Kik account and allegedly discovered around 40 files connected to the exploitation of children.

Investigators also examined chat history and found that Allbritton had engaged in multiple conversations regarding child pornography and had shared files with other users. Additionally, he apparently mentioned his occupation during conversations, stating that he was employed in the food service sector within a hospital.

Allbritton was taken into custody shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at Phoenix Sky Harbor.

During questioning by detectives, Allbritton reportedly confessed to using his Kik account for the exchange of explicit files involving child pornography and abuse as reported by AZFamily.

However, according to reports, he claimed that he refrained from saving the files to his phone out of concern because he feared his girlfriend would find them and “know about the dark underworld.”

Based on the documents, he informed investigators that as a part of his role at Sodexo, he would deliver food to the hospital rooms of children. However, he denied any allegations of inappropriate contact or capturing photos and videos of the patients. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
