A 19-year-old individual from Summerville has been taken into custody and is facing charges of Child Molestation. Logan Jayden Pickern was taken into custody on June 27 after an investigation conducted by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office. Reports indicate that Pickern was involved in a disturbing relationship with a young child.
Investigator Daniel Sanford arrested him after a thorough investigation revealed his involvement in inappropriate activities with a minor. As per Sheriff Mark Schrader, he was taken into custody and later released on a $50,000 bond, as reported.
As per the incident report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Kinnamont was called to the Chattooga County Jail to speak with a complainant about her 12-year-old daughter on May 5. The individual reported receiving a phone call earlier in the day, during which they alleged that their 12-year-old daughter engaged in sexual activity with a 19-year-old individual named Logan Pickern.

Deputy Kinnamont inquired whether the 12-year-old girl had discussed the incident with anyone. The complainant confirmed that she had spoken to her sister on the phone and that they had recorded their conversation.
Deputy Kinnamont requested to listen to the recording, where the 12-year-old girl mentioned that she had engaged in sexual intercourse with someone named Logan as reported by AllOnGeorgia News.
She went on to explain that she informed Logan about her age, revealing that she was 14 while Logan was 19. Deputy Kinnamont promptly informed Investigator Sanford about the complaint, who then reached out to DFCS to involve a case worker.
