Kentucky Man Arrested after Child Abuse Material Busted on Devices: Police

A man from Warren County has been taken into custody by the Kentucky State Police who are investigating allegations of storing material depicting sexual abuse of children.

According to the findings of an undercover operation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children, Daelin Wayne Rigsby, age 21, was taken into custody. The inquiry was initiated by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch after it was discovered that the suspect had been circulating photographs of child sexual exploitation on electronic platforms.

Following the conclusion of the investigation, an interview was conducted at Bowling Green on July 23. Additionally, the equipment that was utilized to enable the crime was seized and transported to a forensic laboratory for analysis.

A total of ten counts of distribution of material depicting a sexual performance by a minor under the age of twelve were brought against Rigsby, in addition to one count of possession of material depicting a sexual performance by a minor under the age of twelve.

These are Class C felonies, which carry a sentence of five to ten years in jail if convicted successfully.

A detention facility for Warren County was where Rigsby was taken into custody.
