Jackson began dating Queen & Slim actress Jodie Turner-Smith in October 2019. They are now married, and their first child, a girl, is due in April 2020.

Who is Jodie Turner-Smith?
Jodie Turner-Smith was born in England to Jamaican immigrants and relocated to Maryland when she was 10 years old. Growing up, the Last Ship actor fought hard to blend in, telling Colin Farrell for Interview Magazine, “Being a black girl is one thing, but being a dark black girl is quite another. That got me in trouble. I was scolded for the manner in which I spoke. And because of my nature, I quickly adapted towards being the most approachable version of Jodie for others.”
She worked as a banker at PNC Bank after graduating from college, but she rapidly found the position unsatisfying. Turner-Smith had considered going to Los Angeles to restart her life but had put it off until a chance meeting with Pharrell Williams altered everything. Williams, who had a common connection with Tuner-Smith, urged her to seek a career in entertainment and assisted her in establishing contacts in Los Angeles.
“He really influenced me to take a bet on myself and experience what it would be like if I lived my life in front of the camera,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. Turner-initial Smith’s port of call? “I step off the plane and into a music video,” she told WWD.
Joshua Jackson’s Dating History
During the first two seasons of Dawson’s Creek, Jackson was in a relationship with fellow Dawson’s Creek co-star Katie Holmes. Jackson was Holmes’ first love, according to her.
In 2006, Jackson began dating German actress Diane Kruger. After eleven years together, the pair called their quits in 2016.
Since 2018, Jackson has been in a relationship with British model and actress Jodie Turner-Smith. They married in December 2019 and are expecting their first child in April 2020.
In a 2014 interview with Glamour magazine, Jackson discussed their choice not to marry despite their long-term relationship. “I’ll tell you why we aren’t married: we aren’t religious,” the 38-year-old explained. “I don’t feel any less devoted to Diane because we didn’t stand in front of a priest and throw a huge party. We’re both divorced children, therefore it’s difficult for me to accept marriage as a sign of maturity and commitment to another person. However, this may change at some time. We’re thinking about getting married.”
