Two women from Forrest City have been arrested and are currently in custody. A disturbing video circulating on social media depicts a one-year-old child with their hands and feet restrained.
On Friday evening, a video came to our attention showing a child in urgent need of assistance,” stated St. Francis County Detective Sergeant Cody Jackson.
Jackson informed WREG that the ongoing investigation is centered around a post depicting potential child abuse, which he found deeply unsettling.
“I believe it has been circulating on social media,” Jackson mentioned. There have been reports of a child lying on the floor. That’s the extent of what I can do for now.
Jasmine Cate, the child’s mother, and Bruana Holland are currently facing serious felony charges and are currently incarcerated.
Both individuals were granted a bond of $100,000.

Based on court documents, Cate and Holland have confessed to their participation and claimed that the video was intended as a prank.
However, law enforcement did not find the content of the video amusing as reported by WREG News.
“We acted swiftly to ensure the safety of the child, given the disturbing nature of the video,” Jackson stated.
Two young children were brought to Le Bonheur with extensive bruising. WREG has discovered that the one-year-old is currently in the care of their grandmother.
The Department of Homeland Security is currently investigating the situation.
Cate and Holland have court appearances scheduled for October 14.
