On Monday, police reportedly discovered the second victim at Huizar’s residence. Officials confirmed on Wednesday that the victim was 17-year-old Angelica M. Santos, whom Huizar had met while working as a middle school resource officer in Yakima a few years ago, according to court papers.

After a 16-year-old friend of Santos’s passed out at Huizar’s house in February, the two went to the police to report the assault. Huizar admitted to raping the two girls but had already posted bail.

In her petition for a protective order, Rodriguez detailed her recent divorce from Huizar. She claimed that she was unaware he was seeing the same teen he had met while working as a resource officer until he was accused of rape, which she discovered a few days later.

She expressed concern for her children’s safety and announced her intention to request a revision of their parenting plan. According to court records, she submitted the request for the amendment last Friday. With the issuance of the protection order in February came a one-year prohibition on Huizar’s ability to own firearms.
