75-year-old Woman Escaped Masked Kidnapper and Found Her Lover Dead at Home in Arizona

Honk News ( Tucson, AZ) – Authorities in Arizona have taken a man into custody following the abduction of a 75-year-old woman, whose boyfriend was discovered deceased in their residence.

Authorities from the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene around 8:10 p.m. on Friday following a report of a woman allegedly being taken against her will in Pearce, located approximately 80 miles east-southeast of Tucson, as stated in a press release.

A woman reported that she was in the workshop at the back of her house around 3 p.m. on Friday when a masked individual dressed in dark clothing entered and aimed a gun at her.

The woman reported to the authorities that the man held her down and covered her eyes with a blindfold. She then experienced a series of “loud noises” but was uncertain about the situation unfolding. As darkness descended, the individual transported the victim into her 2007 silver Chevrolet Avalanche and compelled her into the rear seat, according to police reports.

Authorities report that the individual fled the scene in a vehicle. Seizing the moment as the vehicle came to a halt, the woman freed herself from her bindings and dashed away.

A woman recounted to deputies that a man had entered a Dollar General, under the impression that she remained inside while she detailed the terrifying experience to the authorities. She subsequently suggested that they visit her home to see her boyfriend.

Authorities attempted to reach out to individuals within the premises but got no response. They broke into the residence and discovered the lifeless body of a 67-year-old man, identified as the boyfriend.

The specific charges he is facing remain uncertain.

Authorities have not disclosed whether the incident was random or if Prairie-Rocca had any ties to the victims. The identities of the victims remain undisclosed, and deputies have not revealed details surrounding the male victim’s cause of death. The matter is still being looked into.
