Autistic and Disabled Boy Killed by Arizona Couple; Arrested and Charged for Horrific Death

The authorities in the Tucson area have reported the arrest of two individuals in connection with the death of a child with special needs for the second time in the span of two days.

According to a statement released by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, May 9, Joshua Aaron Butcher and Mercedes M. Caho are being investigated for the potential involvement in the death of their kid in 2022.

During the month of May, Butcher and Caho were taken into custody on allegations of murder and child abuse, according to the PCSD.

According to the PCSD, the youngster passed away in 2022, and the investigators “noted suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident throughout the investigation.”

In accordance with the findings of the PCSD, the victim suffered from blunt force damage to his head and upper body. In a post on Facebook, Caho revealed that her son’s name is Brayden Aaron Butcher, and he is eight years old.

Caho asserted that Brayden suffered from autism, scoliosis, and rheumatoid arthritis on a GoFundMe campaign that is now deactivated.

Brayden was born on November 29, 2013, and he passed away on August 12, 2022, as stated in an obituary publication.

As of Thursday, May 8, the Tucson Police Department made the announcement that Ariel Lea Horn and Charles Jackson McClellan Jr. had been taken into custody in connection with the death of Horn’s kid toward the end of the previous year.
