In this article we will discuss that who is the greatest character in Moral Kombat!
Mortal Kombat has evolved from a lucrative video game brand to stunt shows, comic books, animated movies, and live-action blockbusters since its debut in the early 1990s. With a changing pool of characters, each with their own set of abilities and combat style, fans may choose their favorite fighter.
While many various versions of the characters have existed, the new Mortal Kombat film delivers its own perspective on the fighters in a film loaded with aesthetically spectacular bouts and devastating deaths. As the many warriors fought to the death, it became evident that some were definitely more strong than others.
Goro
Goro, a Shokan race member, is a massive four-armed half-dragon assigned to murder Cole Young. Goro, who is physically intimidating and aggressive, uses his additional arms to unleash powerful punch combos. Goro was about to beat Cole Young and murder him if Cole Young hadn’t discovered his arcana, or inner strength, during the combat.
Goro is a competent fighter with sheer strength who has a size advantage and additional limbs to account for, but his bulkiness leaves him vulnerable to faster opponents and his lack of ranged strikes restricts his combat ability.
Jackson “Jax” Briggs
Jax is a military guy who is disciplined, well-trained, and extremely talented. He is brave enough to confront Sub-Zero before receiving his artificial arms in order to save Cole Young. After Jax loses his arms in his fight with Sub-Zero, he shows his mental fortitude by relearning how to utilize his cybernetic limbs in warfare.
Jax only grows more strong when he can use his arms effectively, pouring his training and expertise into his improved physical form. Jax is physically and psychologically strong, capable of defeating lesser fighters, but in his lone genuine bout against a superior opponent, he was quickly defeated by Sub-Zero.
Kung Lao
Kung Lao is already in touch with his arcana from his debut, and as such, he is powerful from the moment he appears in Mortal Kombat. He expertly employs his metal headgear as both a shield and a devastating weapon.
In his combat with Nitara, he uses his hat to demonstrate his strength and expertise. Moreover, Kung Lao continuously exhibits his leadership abilities as he instructs the other champions and assists them in connecting with their arcana. Kung Lao is capable of defeating Nitara, but he is immediately defeated by Shang Tsung.

Liu Kang
By the time Cole, Sonya, and Kano meet Kung Lao’s cousin and buddy, Liu Kang has already attained his inner strength. He briefs the squad, and therefore the audience, about the Mortal Kombat competition and helps them train.
Despite the fact that Liu Kang already has the capacity to throw fireballs, his powers grow even stronger throughout the film as he is inspired to revenge Kung Lao, culminating in a full exhibition of his might in his fight against Kabal. He is already one of Mortal Kombat’s most formidable characters, and he only looks to be getting stronger.
Sonya Blade
Sonya Blade is one of the first characters in Mortal Kombat to figure out what’s going on, utilizing her military special forces expertise to take charge of the situation and devise a strategy. When Kano challenges her authority, she overpowers him and affirms her proper place as the one in control.
Sonya Blade proved that she merits a seat in the tournament despite being born without a mark. When she connects with her arcana, her power becomes even more apparent. The film never shows her full talents, although she was powerful enough to overcome Kano even while he possessed abilities that she lacked. The single time she uses her abilities in the film, she blows up a building.
Cole Young
Cole Young is a powerful cage fighter who can more than take a blow at the start of the film. He is an ordinary, hardworking family man who is dragged into battle. His strength is initially less developed than the other characters’ but gradually rises during the film, reaching a tipping point when he saves his family from Goro while also unlocking his arcana. From then on, he exhibits increasing physical strength, as well as leadership and tenacity.
Cole Young has definitely found himself at the end of Mortal Kombat, and he looks to be on track to become even more formidable in the future, maybe becoming the next Scorpion. He lacks the polish and experience of some of the other fighters.
Lord Raiden
Raiden exhibits great strength as the thunder god and guardian of Earthrealm. He is distinguished from the other gods in the film because he cares enough to oppose Shang Tsung. As Shang Tsung comes to Raiden’s temple to murder the Earthrealm champions and secure Outworld’s triumph, Raiden is able to repel him and protect Earth’s champions. He can also transfer the champions of both kingdoms anywhere he desires.
While Raiden mostly serves as a mentor figure to Earth’s champions and is unable to engage in combat, it is evident that he is Mortal Kombat’s most powerful character.
