According to the authorities, a male who is 29 years old was taken into custody after an alleged sexual assault that occurred at the Hoboken Shelter at the end of June.
At around 6:20 in the morning on June 24th, Hoboken Police Officers Nasir Willey and Keven De La Cruz rushed to the Hoboken Shelter, which is located at 300 Bloomfield Street, in response to complaints of a sexual assault.
A man who matched the description of the suspect was seen by Officer Rose Kanan of the police department on the 100 block of Washington Street. Christopher Baez, then 29 years old and from Hoboken, was identified as the perpetrator by the victim as reported by Hudson County View.
As a consequence of this, he was taken into custody and taken to the Hoboken Police Headquarters, where he was charged with criminal sexual contact. After that, he was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, according to the police.
