Man Arrested after Killing Wife and Wrapping her in Tarp and shocking Confession in Texas

Fort Worth, TX: According to authorities, a 33-year-old man from south Fort Worth fatally shot his wife last week. The body was found in a bedroom inside their house, wrapped in a blue tarp.

According to the affidavit supporting the arrest warrant in the case, Christopher Robertson confessed to shooting Kristlynne Robertson, 34, once during an interview with two homicide detectives from the Fort Worth Police Department.

He also expressed his intention to be arrested. According to the affidavit, the suspect presented the officers with a firearm that he had in his possession and said it was the weapon he employed to shoot his wife.

Kristlynne Robertson was found deceased by the suspect’s brother on Friday at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the residence located in the 5500 block of Whitman Avenue.

According to the affidavit, the suspect’s brother arrived at the residence and observed Christopher Robertson in a state of excessive intoxication. He discovered the Kristlynne Robertson’s body. According to the affidavit, Kristlynne Robertson sustained a single gunshot wound to the left side of her face.

Christopher Robertson dialed 911 on Saturday. Based on the affidavit, the individual conveyed to the call-taker that his father-in-law would kill him. He said the following:

  • “My father-in-law is going to kill me.”
  • “I actually killed his daughter.”
  • “I killed his daughter.”

Christopher Robertson was apprehended by the police on charges of homicide. On Monday, he was detained at the Tarrant County Jail with a bond of $100,000.
