The American media franchise through the title of Kung Fu Panda debuted around 2008 with the premiere of the DreamWorks Animation-produced blockbuster film version.
The saga takes place in the fictional wuxia genre depiction of Ancient China that is populated by anthropomorphic animals, and so it follows the exploits of the protagonist Po Ping, a giant panda who has been strangely elected as the legendary Dragon Warrior and develops into a master of Kung Fu.
Po demonstrates himself as deserving as he works to fulfill his mission and discover his past alongside his new allies, despite the early doubts about his position. The talented Dragon Warrior and popular big panda are returning with a new “Blade” and a fury! Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, a brand-new animated series, will debut on Netflix soon.
It will carry on Po’s heroic story and showcase his famed Kung-Fu prowess. However, he now gets the Wandering Blade like a partner. The proposed animated series will be the third of the main Kung Fu Panda series and the franchise’s nine spin-offs.
Let’s, confirm our understanding of the forthcoming Kung Fu Panda series.
Kung Fu Panda: the Dragon Knight: When Is the Series Releasing?
Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, a new show featuring Jack Black resuming his role as Po, has been scheduled to debut on Netflix on July 14, 2022, during the celebration of National Panda Day in March 2022. The story involves Po as he would leave his home and set out on a global journey for righteousness and redemption, where he teams up only with Wandering Blade, a no-nonsense English knight.
There hasn’t been any information released by Netflix concerning Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight’s episode details as of yet. Also, Po was last seen in the animated series Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny, which took place following Kung Fu Panda 3’s events.
The show’s 13-episode initial season was published in its whole on November 16, 2018, as well as its 13-episode second full season was published on July 4, 2019, over 26 episodes created by DreamWorks Animation Television alongside Amazon Studios, exclusively ordered or rather aired through Amazon Prime Video.
Kung Fu Panda: the Dragon Knight: What Will Be the Storyline of the Series?

However, his decision-making goes wrong when there has been a mysterious attack, as well as the people lose faith in leadership. Po is saddened and disheartened by his failure and looks for atonement. At that point, Wandering Blade shows up at his door.
Legendary English knight Wandering Blade had set out to prevent two weasels from acquiring four mystical and potent weaponry that would enable them to destroy everything and take over the world. The storyline of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight seems unrelated to all of the other previous films or the DreamWorks franchise’s animated feature.
The planned Tv series, albeit it is the ninth spin-off first from the film trilogy, has a new storyline and supporting characters, except Po, Ping, and Pei Pei. Therefore, you could still appreciate the next series as just a standalone tale even if you haven’t seen all of the other Kung Fu Panda films or television shows.
This show would be yet another exciting adventure for Po, where he must leave his home and his anxieties behind and set out on an existential journey. For admirers of the Kung Fu Panda film franchise, it is gonna be awesome. I know can’t wait for the series to get released.
Let’s rehash Po’s life from the first movie for the fans who will be seeing him for the first time.
Unable to pursue his desire of mastering Kung Fu, Po, a clumsy panda, works in the noodle store owned by his goose father Mr. Ping and lives in the Valley of Peace.
The Dragon Warrior, the one and only Kung Fu expert capable of deciphering the mysteries of the Dragon Scroll, which is claimed to hold the key to endless power, is to be revealed in a tournament conducted one day for Grand Master Oogway, the ancient religious leader of the valley.
Everybody else in the valley believes the Dragon Warrior to be among the Furious Five, a group of five Kung Fu fighters Master Shifu taught to defend the valley. Those Furious Five are Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper, as well as Crane. To everyone else’s shock, Oogway chooses Po, who has inadvertently entered the championship arena despite arriving late thanks to a fireworks burst.
Shifu puts Po through painful training drills because he doesn’t think he can become the Dragon Warrior and wants to get him to give up. Po, who’d already previously made fun of the Furious Five because of his lack of Kung Fu prowess, persists in his practice because he is desperate to transform himself becoming something that he can respect.
Po quickly realizes that Tai Lung, a wicked Kung Fu warrior who now has escaped from jail to take vengeance for not being given the Dragon Scroll, is heading toward the Valley and fears he won’t be capable of defeating him. Po is effectively taught Kung Fu by Shifu after realizing that he might practice martial arts while hungry.
When Po receives the Dragon Scroll following finishing his training, he finds it to be empty. Eventually, Po understands that the secret to endless strength is found inside himself, which enables him to overthrow Tai Lung and bring peacefulness back to the valley.
Kung Fu Panda: the Dragon Knight: Who Will Be Seen Again in the Series?
Jack Black reprises his role as Po’s voiceover in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight for maybe the first moment since the release of the third film in the franchise in 2016.
