Glendale Teen Stabbed to Death; Police say Targeted Attack; one arrested and other Suspects on Large

Glendale, AZ: An 18-year-old man had been stabbed to death on Friday morning. One suspect was taken into custody by the Glendale police department.

At approximately 8:30 in the morning, officers responded to a home located close to the intersection of Bethany Home Road and 67th Avenue, according to Moroni Mendez, the spokesperson for the Glendale Police Department.

In the aftermath of the incident, law enforcement officers discovered Daniel James Santiago suffering from stab wounds. They took him to a hospital, where he ultimately passed away.

In the vicinity, the Glendale police department discovered a man named Robert Leo Williams, who was twenty years old, and they arrested him as the sole suspect, as stated by Mendez.

Mendez stated that there were no suspects who were believed to be responsible for the crime, and that police were continuing their investigation accordingly.

It was said by Mendez that there was still no list of charges that were available against Williams.

Mendez stated that that Glendale detectives were now present at the scene of the incident. He went on to say that locals can anticipate a greater presence of law enforcement throughout the remainder of the morning.

The residences in the neighborhood, including the one where the stabbing took place, were built not more than a year ago, according to reports from neighbors in the neighborhood. Approximately three months had passed since the residents had moved into their new home at the location.
