This rate exceeds both the national average and the Davie average by 241% and 158%, respectively. The violent crimes that are most commonly recorded in this area include rape, robbery, and assault.
Driftwood Estates has a notable property crime rate of 5,590 crimes per 100,000 residents in addition to a high percentage of violent crime. This rate exceeds both the town and national averages by 54% and 100%, respectively. The most frequent property crime types in this neighborhood are auto theft, burglary, and theft of motor vehicles.
2. Playland Village
Playland Village is located in the town’s eastern section, near the intersection of Southwest 39th Street and Southwest 64th Avenue. There are about 3,000 people living there, most of whom being white people with modest incomes.
Playland Village has a violent crime rate of 978 offenses per 100,000 residents, which is higher above the national average by 232% and the Davie average by 151%, according to NeighborhoodScout. The most common violent crime types in this area are murder, assault, and robbery.
In addition, Playland Village has a very high rate of property crime—5,468 offenses per 100,000 residents—that is 53% higher than the town average and 98% higher than the national average. Auto theft, break-ins, and theft are common property crimes in the region.
3. Pine Island Ridge
In the southern portion of the town, close to the confluence of Pine Island Road and State Road 84, sits the community known as Pine Island Ridge. Approximately 6,000 people call it home, the bulk of them are white and Latino.
Pine Island Ridge has a high violent crime rate (936 offenses per 100,000 inhabitants), according to NeighborhoodScout. This rate is greater than the national average by 222% and higher than the average in Davie by 145%. The most frequent violent crime categories in this region are rape, robbery, and assault.
In addition, Pine Island Ridge has a high rate of property crimes—5,349 per 100,000 residents—than any other community. This rate exceeds both the municipal and national averages by 52% and 96%, respectively. In this location, car theft, theft, and burglary are the most common property crimes.
4. Orange Park
Orange Park is situated close to the intersection of Southwest Eighth Street and Southwest 130th Avenue in the western portion of the town. There are about 2,000 people living there, most of them are Hispanic and Caucasian.

Situated in the southwest region of the town, close to the intersection of Orange Drive and Southwest 136th Avenue, lies the community known as Everglades Lakes. There are about 2,000 people living there, most of them are Caucasian and come from low-income families.
Everglades Lakes has a high rate of violent crime, with 851 reported offenses per 100,000 residents, according to NeighborhoodScout. This rate exceeds both the national average and the Davie average by 202% and 131%, respectively.
The most frequent violent crimes in this area are rape, robbery, and assault. In addition, Everglades Lakes has a high rate of property crimes—5,082 incidents for every 100,000 residents.
This rate exceeds both the town and national averages by 49% and 91%, respectively. In this neighborhood, car theft, theft, and burglary are the most common property crimes.
