California Father-Son Duo Arrested for Murder and Brutal Child Molestation Incident

Authorities have apprehended two individuals in relation to a homicide that occurred on July 5th in Mendota.

Homicide detectives from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have apprehended a father and son in connection with the tragic killing of 37-year-old Antonio Torres Ochoa from Mendota.
Both the father and son, who go by the name Javier Medina, were taken into custody and are now being held at the Fresno County Jail.

Medina, who is 61 years old, is facing a charge of accessory to murder. Additionally, he had an outstanding warrant for child molestation. Medina’s son, who is 38 years old, is facing a murder charge.

Authorities responded to a report of a person in need of medical assistance on the morning of July 5th near Shields and Fairfax Avenues, in the vicinity of Mendota.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered the lifeless body of a man, later identified as Ochoa, in a cornfield.

The investigation was taken over by homicide detectives who were able to gather information that pointed to 38-year-old Javier Medina, also known as Juju, as the main suspect.

Authorities executed a search warrant and apprehended Medina on charges of murder.

After obtaining an additional search warrant, authorities proceeded to his father’s residence in Mendota. It was there that detectives apprehended him on charges of being an accessory to the murder.

According to detectives, this incident appears to be a unique case involving individuals who were acquainted with each other.

Investigators are still working to establish a motive as reported by KMPH News.
