How’s Carly and Evan’s Bachelor Nation Journey?
During their season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ in 2016, Evan developed affections for Carly, but she did not reciprocate those sentiments immediately away. Carly told him after their date that she preferred to remain friends, but then awarded him a “platonic rose” at the Rose Ceremony the next day. Evan saw this as an opportunity to recapture Carly’s affections and began preparing their reconciliation. Evan was given medical attention one evening and directed to a hospital in Mexico. Carly accompanied him, and her feelings for Evan became stronger as he healed. Evan then stated that he feigned his injuries in order to have Carly fall in love with him!
The two finally got engaged during the season finale and returned in season 4 to marry in a televised ceremony on June 17, 2017. Evan compared Carly’s beauty to a “sunrise” and labeled her “the most beautiful lady I’ve ever set eyes upon” during their vows. The couple welcomed their daughter, Isabella, in February 2018 after moving to Nashville, Tennessee, and their son, Charlie, in November 2019. With such a lovely and amazing love story, one has to wonder what the couple is doing now.

Are Carly and Evan Still Together?
Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, sadly, are no longer together. The adored reality couple announced their divorce in December 2020, after three years of marriage. Carly revealed in a YouTube video in January 2021 that Evan was the one who instigated the divorce. The former cruise ship singer blamed their divorce on putting their marriage on hold while raising their children. “We’ve gone to counseling for years,” she explained. “We made an attempt. We tried for a long time, y’all, to make it work.”
“We went to counseling,” Carly continued. We concentrated a lot more on the kids than we did on ourselves, and I believe that was our biggest mistake. “The youngsters sort of climbed to the top of the pyramid.” Even though they just declared their breakup in a joint statement in December, Carly explained that they will split the day after Thanksgiving in 2020, after spending the year looking for a new house for themselves and their two children, Isabella and Charlie.

The Harsh Time-Phase In The Couple’s Life
“If you don’t have a basis for yourself, you disintegrate. “The last two years have simply been so difficult,” Carly continued. Evan took a month-long hiatus from social media throughout their impending divorce. He then targeted followers on Instagram, who had become an obvious target since he claimed that more people were supporting Carly after their separation. Evan claimed on June 12, 2021, that he was “happier than I’d been in a long time,” and that he was “dating” again.
Nonetheless, Carly was taken to the hospital by ambulance a few days later, on June 14, due to severe stomach pains. Many others saw Evan’s statement that she was cleared to go home after “nine hours,” despite being “in pretty horrible shape,” as a prospective reunion. However, he denied these allegations, claiming that he had moved on and declaring that his main priority was his personal life and health.
Evan talked out about his life with Carly on the ‘Talking It Out’ podcast a year later, in June 2022. “When we departed, we weren’t able to lay a good foundation,” he explained. ‘Paradise’ provides a basis, but there is nothing else going on and you must focus only on your connection. You talk about real life issues, and it’s very honest, but when you leave, the transition is when we fall short. We didn’t talk about our ideals, nor did we communicate in general.
