Glenville, Illinois: Last week, two residential burglaries in the suburban Glenview area were reported within thirty minutes of one another.
According to authorities, a masked man broke the bedroom window of a house and made his way into the house to rob it. The location of the robbery was the 1000 block of Golfview Road.
The intruder stole personal belongings, cash, and some jewelry. Another burglary happened just within 30 minutes of the previous one.
A resident in the 1400 block of Huntington Drive stated that an unidentified individual forced his way through the front entrance of their house and trashed many rooms approximately thirty minutes later, at 7:57 p.m.
Police reported that jewelry and personal belongings had been stolen from the house. It’s unclear right now whether these incidents are connected.
Glenville police have opened a probe and are currently investigating the robberies. The suspect is at large and no arrest has been made in the matter.
