To begin with, you can only edit a tweet that was sent within the last 30 minutes. Once those 30 minutes have passed, the tweet is irreversible.

When you update a tweet, a pencil icon appears on the message, indicating that it was edited and when you did it. They can select that icon to view all versions of the tweet, including the original.
Your tweet can only be edited five times. The Edit Tweet option will be removed once you have completed your sixth edit.
Retweet replies and polls cannot be edited.
Finally, you must edit your tweets on the same device that you sent the original tweet. So, if you send the original tweet from your iPhone, you won’t be able to change it from your Android device.

- Go to your profile menu
- Choose Twitter Blue
- The fee per month will be displayed on the subscription button. You will be able to access all of the new features once you have paid.
