A former worker at a Sachse daycare has been charged with one count of indecency with a child. The child’s family is suing the daycare, saying that surveillance video showed the alleged sexual abuse.
It was charged after the mother of a 4-year-old boy told Sachse Police what her son told her on January 6, 2023. Efrain Jesus Bonilla, who is 19 years old, was caught in the case and is now free on bond. He is being charged with one count of indecency with child sexual contact, but the case is still being heard.
The mother of the boy is now suing. By the Barnyard Gate daycare after a surveillance tape allegedly showed her son being abused sexually.
The lawsuit was filed on June 10, and they want $1 million for pain and suffering.
The family is being helped by Russell Button of the Button Law Firm in Dallas as stated in TylerPaper.
“This caregiver comes over, blocks the camera view from looking at what’s going on with his hands, warms up his hands, positions the child, sticks his hand down into his private areas and grabs his privates,” said Button.
Texas Health and Human Services says that the state did give the daycare a ticket for not reporting the event. Online records show that on January 10, 2023, DFPS finished an investigation and found that a child who was in the care of By the Barnyard Gate had been mistreated.
