A woman was arrested by the College Station Police Department on charges of assaulting an elderly patient at a nursing and rehabilitation center earlier this year.
Treandranique Green was taken on June 7 for what happened in February, according to the police.
Police say they started their investigation after the facility on Rock Prairie Road got videos of Green hitting an 81-year-old woman while she was trying to give her medicine.
The facility told the cops that Green had been fired and was being suspended after the videos were sent to them.
The videos showed Green trying to get the woman to take her medicine by putting her knee into her side, sitting on her body, poking her in the face and chest, and pouring water on her face. In the arrest record, the police also said that Green was making fun of the woman and laughing the whole time.
Online jail records obtained by KBTX News show that Green was caught this month and charged with Assault Against an Elderly Person. She was released from jail on a $20,000 bond.
