A couple from Madisonville is facing allegations of child neglect after they have only ever given their child, who is three years old, milk throughout their entire existence.
Both Jayda McDowell and Cody Alfred have been charged with child abuse after the police discovered the baby had only been given milk and had never been given “solid food.”
The milk caused calcium deposits to grow on the teeth of the three-year-old child. The child was not malnourished as per the officers.
According to the police, the child is currently in the responsibility of social services.
The Hopkins County Jail is the location where McDowell and Alfred are being kept at the moment.
