3-year-old Dead in New York from Stray Bullet; Shooting also left Sister Injured

A three-year-old kid who was riding a tricycle was fatally shot, and his sister, who was seven years old, was grazed by gunshot during a family gathering in Buffalo, according to statements made by officials on Saturday.

According to Mayor Byron Brown, the youngsters were not the intended targets of the gunshot that took place on a public street on Friday night. While hunting for a suspect on Saturday, the police believe there was just one person who carried out the shooting.

“A three-year-old boy is riding his tricycle, having fun with members of his family on a hot summer night, and his older sister, who is seven years old, is right by his side. Suddenly, gunfire breaks out from completely nowhere.” Brown disclosed this information during a press conference. “And the children are struck by gunfire:”

The unidentified youngster was transported in a police cruiser to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after being taken there by the officers. Joseph Gramaglia, the Commissioner of Police, stated that the girl’s injuries were not considered to be life-threatening. In addition to stating that the investigation was still ongoing, he declined to disclose any other information regarding the shooting.

There was no additional information made public regarding the weapon, despite the fact that the chief of police stated that detectives had recovered a gun on Friday night and were currently testing it.
