2-year-old Baby Girl found Dead at House Full of Drugs; Mother Pleaded Guilty and said She used Home to Sell Drugs in New Mexico

A tragic incident resulted in the unfortunate loss of a young child, leading to charges being filed against the mother. On Thursday afternoon, Kreshenna Delaney, 47, appeared before a judge and admitted her guilt for the crime. A mother of three has admitted to three charges related to the tragic loss of her two-year-old daughter.

“Plea is as follows, it says that you will be pleading guilty to abandonment of a child under 13 resulting in death. A second-degree felony resulting in the death of a human being N.D.,” said Judge Bruce F. Fox.

In a tragic incident last year, Kreshenna Delaney rushed her unresponsive 2-year-old child to an Albuquerque hospital. The medical professionals at the hospital determined that the child had tragically passed away due to a cocaine overdose.

Delaney confessed to distributing the substance from her residence. Upon discovering her child in a state of unresponsiveness, she promptly made her way to Lovelace Women’s Hospital. Security footage revealed that she patiently waited for two and a half minutes in her car before proceeding to walk across the parking lot toward the entrance.

Thank you for acknowledging your responsibility today. “I appreciate your work on this as well,” said Judge Fox, acknowledging the attorney’s efforts in a case involving a parent who may be a loving parent but made the mistake of bringing narcotics into the home.

Additionally, Delaney admitted to being guilty of two counts of child abuse concerning her other two children. Judge Fox has ordered a 60-day evaluation for Delaney due to concerns about her erratic behavior, which may be indicative of a mental health issue. The evaluation will be followed by the sentencing. She could potentially be sentenced to up to 21 years in prison.
