2 Hamilton Men Arrested after Drugs, Cash and Guns busted of alleged ‘violent’ trafficking organization

Hamilton, OH: Two men are being charged after an inquiry into a suspected drug trafficking syndicate.

Multiple agencies, including the Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force, Hamilton Police, Fairfield Police, Middletown Division of Police, the Hamilton County Task Force, Warren County Drug Task Force, and the FBI, executed nine search warrants on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office stated that search warrants were executed at Hamilton residences linked to the suspected violent drug trafficking ring that is active in Butler County.

The organization was reportedly connected to a significant narcotics confiscation in June and a fatal shooting in September. The searches yielded over 700 pounds of marijuana valued at nearly $2 million, 10 guns, several vehicles, and over $50,000.

Vince Sanford, aged 43, from Hamilton, was apprehended for felony drug trafficking and narcotics possession. John Andrews Jr., 36, from Hamilton, was arrested and charged with multiple federal criminal narcotics and gun violations. The investigation is still in progress.
