20 Firearms Stolen By High-School Students in Ohio

According to authorities, four high school students in western Ohio are facing allegations of unlawfully entering a gun store and fleeing with approximately 20 firearms.

The Wapakoneta Police Department has reported a break-in at the Black Armor Armory, which took place on Monday. Authorities have reported the discovery of shattered glass at the store entrance, along with the unfortunate disappearance of 17 firearms.

According to authorities, a valuable lead emerged indicating that one of the individuals implicated in the robbery is a student within the Celina School District, located in the adjacent Mercer County. According to the police, officers from Celina successfully interviewed the student and other suspects, who are also students at Celina. They were able to locate the missing firearms.

Police have stated that a report is being sent to the Auglaize County Prosecutor’s Office for further investigation into potential criminal charges. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms provided assistance during the investigation.
