Young Girl Molested by Man while Playing in Pool; Arizona Cops Detain Man for Alleged Abuse

A man from Glennwilde, aged 43, has been accused by the Maricopa Police Department of molesting a child in a swimming pool located on North Comet Trail.

A police officer shared in a probable cause statement obtained by InMaricopa yesterday that there is evidence to charge Steven Galeana with the molestation of a child.

Galeana is currently in custody at the Pinal County jail, with a bond set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 25 in Pinal County Superior Court.

According to the police report, Galeana was involved in sexual contact while in a swimming pool.

According to reports, he supposedly sent a text message to the young victim with the message: “If you want to do what I said.”

The report states that while in the pool, Steven moved the swimsuit bottom to the side and inserted his finger into her vagina as reported by InMaricopaNews.

After the incident, the girl and another witness shared an audio recording with a parent. In the recording, Galeana was heard making suggestive comments and expressing a desire to isolate the girl from others.

According to the police report, Steven suggests that they can all smoke together once he has a private conversation with her.
