Woman Gravely Injured after Pruning Saw Attack in Wisconsin; Attacker Woman Arrested by Cops after Woman found in Pool of Blood

Following an assault with a pruning saw on another woman in the downtown area of Madison, a woman has been taken into custody.

Just before 9 o’clock on Monday evening, officers from the Madison Police Department were dispatched to a dispute that was taking place close to the intersection of State Street and West Mifflin Street. An individual who was there at the incident said that the sufferer was bleeding heavily.

After arriving at the site, the cops discovered the woman suffering from major cut wounds, which they determined were caused by a pruning saw that had been discovered nearby and had blood on it.

The victim was sent to the hospital, where she was stabilized, while the police sought for the perpetrator, who had fled the scene before the arrival of the police. The Metropolitan Police Department is of the opinion that the suspect and the victim were acquainted with one another, and that the assault was the result of a quarrel between the two parties.

According to the police, they were able to locate and apprehend the culprit, who they have identified as Alicia Padilla, within a short period of time as reported by KCRG News.

In addition to being charged with disorderly conduct while armed and bail jumping, Padilla is currently being held in the Dane County Jail as he is being held on felony charges of first-degree reckless injury and serious battery.
