Wisconsin Correctional Officer Slapped with Charges; Accused of Molesting and Trafficking Several Minors

Honk News (Walworth County, WI) – Two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of trafficking of a child have been brought against a former correctional officer who worked for the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office and is currently facing charges.

In June and July of 2024, Samuel Pieper was accused of paying for explicit content that was created by individuals who are believed to be minors. Following the receipt of a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on March 6, law enforcement officials carried out a search warrant on his residence. The next day, prosecutors filed charges against him.

“The suspect, Samuel Pieper, resigned from our agency during this process and is no longer employed by Walworth County,” Sheriff Dave Gerber said in a statement.

“This is an isolated incident involving off-duty conduct, and our agency wants to ensure the public we are disgusted with this type of behavior and do not tolerate it,” he added.

At this point in time, there are no known victims in the immediate area.
