Washington Woman Knocked Unconscious and Molested by Man who Attacked Her in Park: Police

A spokeswoman for the Tacoma Police Department said that they are now investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Sunday afternoon. The victim, an adult woman, was attacked from behind as she was strolling through an area park.

The 6200 block of Wapato Street, close to Wapato Hills Park, was the scene of a woman’s screams when police were called to the scene about 2 p.m.

The victim of the sexual assault was located by the responding officers, and Tacoma fire departments subsequently transported her to a nearby hospital.

According to Detective William Muse, the culprit remained elusive as of approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday, despite the fact that detectives and a police dog unit had already been dispatched to the scene.

According to Muse, the woman may have been rendered unconscious during the attack, which is why the police do not have a description of the offender.

He clarified that the woman’s age will remain confidential in order to safeguard her identity.
