A pastor from a Long Island church has been taken into custody following allegations of sexual abuse involving an adult male victim, as reported by police.
Nassau County police have accused Thomas Moriarty, 62, a pastor at the Holy Spirit Church in New Hyde Park, of sexually abusing a 22-year-old victim.
An incident reportedly took place on October 26 at 12:30 a.m. in Oceanside.
Authorities reported that Moriarty faces a charge of forcible touching.
