Virginia School Principal Arrested after Brutal Child Abuse Allegations: Authorities

An arrest warrant has been issued for the principal of a middle school in Albemarle County, North Carolina, on suspicions of child abuse.

Under the jurisdiction of the Henrico County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, LaRuth Ensley is being charged with two counts of assault.

Tuesday was the day that she was taken into custody on charges of allegedly abusing a kid, causing significant injury, and assaulting and battering a member of her family. Each of the charges is a felony of the fourth class. According to the allegations, both of the instances took place on May 1.

As of July 2022, Ensley has been serving as the principal of Henley Middle School, which is located in Crozet.

Wednesday was the day when she made her initial court appearance, and the administration of the school has not yet provided any comments regarding this matter. The information that they are getting is restricted, and they are not allowed to say anything about the personnel.

After being released from detention, Ensley is scheduled to make an appearance in court on August 26. On the 21st of August, pupils from Albemarle County will return to school.
