The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3: What Is the Storyline of the Anime?
To serve as the Earth’s Cardinal Hero and battle Waves from those other dimensions, Naofumi Iwatani, a laid-back Japanese youngster, was invited into a parallel realm together with three additional young men from other dimensions. Once they were summoned, the warriors were each outfitted with unique epic weaponry.
Naofumi was given the Legendary Shield, the only piece of defensive armor, whereas the other heroes each received a sword, a spear, and a bow, all of which are attack-oriented weaponry.
Naofumi’s luck changes to something worse after his sole accomplice is eventually discovered to be the empire’s princess, who betrays him, snatches the whole of his possessions, and abandons him without any help or equipment after falsely accusing him of sexually assaulting her. In contrast to the other heroes, who each receive complete support from the kingdom as well as several powerful allies, Naofumi’s luck gets nastier.
When a now-cynical Naofumi buys from such a slave trader, an adolescent tanuki demi-human girl called Raphtalia as well as an egg which thus hatches into something like a bird-human like a creature whom he designates “Filo,” both quickly grow into adulthood and become potent warriors, saving Naofumi from being pressured to coach as a hero lonely whereas the focusing on making ends meet.
Naofumi and his friends cooperate to execute their missions as heroes and they solve the mystery surrounding the Waves and discover why they pose a threat to not just their world but to many other realms as well.
As they gradually win the confidence and appreciation of the populace through their brave deeds.
The Anime’s Season 3 is expected to center mostly on the Fallen Heroes arc from the light novel, although we heard little about it. The New Realm Arc, in which Naofumi’s team enters Kyo’s world, is probably going to be wrapped up in Season 2.
This same light novel continues with Naofumi’s experience in Melromarc just after New World Arc. It is unclear how much of the arc will be depicted since Season 2 has been criticized for skipping sections such as these, which occurred even before Spirit Tortoise inside the novels.

In the wake of the Spirit Tortoise, the focus shifts toward the other characters who’ve been crushed by the events of Season 2. The Shield’s Ascending t the other three heroes, who can still be encountered in different states of despair following events in the season, should receive considerably more attention than Hero.
