Texas Grandmother Put Granddaughter on Feeding Tube to Solicit Money from Fundraisers; Arrested

Honk News (Tarrant County, Texas) –  A grandma from Texas has been accused of maltreatment of her granddaughter through the use of proxies.

It has been alleged that a grandmother from Texas inserted an unnecessary gastric feeding tube into her granddaughter by using medical technology.

According to the records kept in the jail in Tarrant County, Texas, Lisa Campbell-Goins is being charged with unlawful restraint, exploitation of a kid, and harming a child. Her arrest took place on December 31.

An investigation that was classified as a Munchausen by proxy case, which is a form of medical child abuse, was conducted by the sheriff’s office of the county.

The sheriff’s office has stated that they are looking for assistance in order to acquire additional information regarding Campbell-Goins.

Further allegations are made against the grandmother, who is 56 years old, that she solicited monetary gifts, through fundraisers. There is a lack of clarity on whether or not she has filed pleas or retained legal representation.
