A possible suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the physical and sexual assault that occurred earlier this week in Brentwood against a lady who was strolling with her infant, who was four weeks old at the time.
In the 900 block of South Gretna Green Way, Carmina Lu stated that she was assaulted at approximately five o’clock on Tuesday evening, just after she had bid farewell to a friend and her little daughter, with whom she had been speaking the previous day.
Lu remarked, “It was a truly terrible experience.” Something like this would never occur to me, especially one month after I had just given birth to a beautiful kid. I just would not have expected it to happen.
She characterized the perpetrator as a Caucasian male in his 20s with a skinny frame and brown hair, and she stated that the perpetrator was not wearing a shirt throughout the assault.
According to Lu’s explanation, the perpetrator of the assault approached him from behind and then “grabbed me by the hips with both of his hands and started sexually assaulting me.”
Officer Miller of the Los Angeles Police Department stated on Thursday that someone was taken into custody in connection with the attack; however, he was unable to provide any other information.

Lu, who stated that she had been punched in the face and had a split lip, wounds under her eyes, and a scalp injury that required staples, expressed her gratitude for the update. She also stated that she had been left with all of these injuries.
The attack did not result in any injuries to Lu’s infant as reported by KTLA News.
“To tell you the truth, the thing that frightened me the most was the fact that he gave my stroller a fleeting glimpse with his eyes just before he rushed away. It is impossible for me to imagine how distraught I would have been if something had happened to the baby,” she said.
