Ryan Gosling shared a very sweet thing during an interview on the Today’s show. Gosling said that his kids like Emily Blunt very much. His daughters have a nickname for the “The Fall Guy” costar.
They call her Mary Poppins lovingly and admiringly.
“My kids call her Mary Poppins,” he revealed, referencing Blunt’s role as the famous nanny in the 2018 film “Mary Poppins Returns.” “‘You’re working with Mary Poppins today?’ Yes I am.”
Gosling and Blunt discussed their new film, “The Fall Guy,” in which Gosling plays Colt Seavers, a hotshot stuntman who tries desperately to win back his former, an up-and-coming director called Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt).
Gosling has two daughters, Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7, with partner Mendes, and their nickname for Blunt comes from her renowned children’s film.
Blunt, 41, starred as the magical nanny in the 2018 sequel Mary Poppins Returns. Blunt also shared that her kids are also fond of Gosling after he starred as Ken in the “Barbie” movie.
She shared that her kids were never excited as much as when they heard about that their mother is working with the actor who played the character of Ken.
The Fall Guy will hit the theaters on May 3.
