Honk News (Franklin, NH) – Authorities in Franklin, New Hampshire, apprehended two individuals on Thursday and confiscated more than a thousand grams of fentanyl after an extensive narcotics investigation spanning several months.
Authorities have taken Michael Brownell, 39, from Franklin, into custody, confiscating 1,300 grams of fentanyl, 500 grams of methamphetamine, $5,000 in cash, and two firearms in the process.
During the arrest, officials also apprehended Kaitlyn Blake, 32, from Belmont, due to an outstanding bench warrant related to unspecified motor vehicle offenses.
Officials have not disclosed any information regarding the relationship between Blake and Brownell.
The tactical unit was summoned to aid in the inquiry, yet there are no signs that either individual tried to evade capture or confront the law enforcement personnel.

Brownell is confronted with a variety of serious allegations, which encompass multiple counts related to the sale of controlled substances exceeding 5 ounces, possession of controlled drugs, transporting drugs in a vehicle, and being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
The two individuals are currently in custody at the Merrimack County Department of Corrections.
Brownell appeared in the Laconia, NH Circuit Court on Friday and is currently in custody.

Blake is presently waiting for her court appearances regarding active warrants in the Plymouth, NH, Circuit Court and the Laconia Circuit Court.
