Oklahoma Woman Molested 3-year-old Boyfriend’s Daughter and Recorded Abuse; Arrested when Father of Victim saw Disturbing Images

Stillwater, OK– Ashlee Cheatham from Stillwater has received a 30-year prison sentence for offenses involving child sexual abuse and child pornography.

The sentencing has been issued in Payne County following Cheatham’s blind plea on October 16. On December 13, Cheatham received a sentence for several counts, with the sentences being served at the same time. She was charged with the following charges:

  1. Possession of child pornography.
  2. Child sexual abuse.
  3. Child sexual exploitation.
  4. Unlawful access to computers to violate Oklahoma statutes.
  5. Unlawful possession of controlled drugs.
  6. Unlawful possession of controlled drugs.

She was sentenced to 10 years in the Department of Corrections for Count 1, in addition to a $500 fine and court costs. Count 2 led to a 20-year prison term along with court fees.

Cheatham received a 30-year sentence for Counts 3 and 4, with 10 years suspended based on good behavior.

Following her release, she is required to register as a sex offender and will be monitored by the Department of Corrections Probation and Parole. She is required to pay $500 and face the courts for both charges.

Count 5 resulted in a five-year sentence, while Count 6 led to a one-year sentence in Payne County Jail. She is required to cover the court expenses for both charges.

Cheatham received recognition for the time already spent in custody.

Court records indicate that the crime is categorized as an 85% crime, which requires Cheatham to serve a minimum of 85% of her sentence before she can qualify for release based on good behavior.

An officer from the Stillwater Police Department encountered a distressed parent in the lobby of the police station on August 22, 2023.

A parent allegedly informed the officer about meeting a Cheatham online. He mentioned that she ultimately became his girlfriend and started living with him.

He claimed to have looked at her phone while she was asleep and discovered unsettling images and videos of his three-year-old daughter at the time.

Cheatham has been taken into custody and is now at the Payne County Jail.
