According to the police, a man was walking between train carriages in Manhattan early on Monday morning when he lost his balance and plummeted to his death.
Some witnesses saw the unnamed straphanger walking from car to car on an F train near East Broadway on the Lower East Side at approximately 12:45 a.m., when he collapsed to the tracks under the train, according to the police.
At the scene, he was cited as having passed away.
There is no suspicion of delinquency.
As a result of the incident that occurred early in the morning, both lines of A and F trains experienced delays.
