11-Month-Old Dies After Toddler Finds Loaded Gun in Texas Car

Texas police responded to a call and discovered an infant suffering from a gunshot wound in the backseat of a vehicle. Two little kids, aged 2 and 3, were in the car next to him.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased infant, who was nearly 11 months old, as Khamari Khols Lang.

“At some point, one of the children gained access to the trunk where a loaded long gun was being stored and pulled the trigger causing the gun to go off,” which fatally shot Khamari, police said in their preliminary incident report.
