Grand Island, NB- The trial court is about to hear the case of a man from Grand Island who is accused of sexually abusing a minor woman.
According to the documents maintained by the court, Joseph Diferdinando’s case was transferred to the Hall County District Court on Tuesday morning.
Child abuse and two counts of labor/sex trafficking of a minor are the charges that have been brought against him. Additionally, a third-degree sexual assault misdemeanor count that was previously brought against him has been dropped.
According to the affidavit that was used to make the arrest, a woman went to the Grand Island police department and alleged that Diferdinando had sexually molested a young child.
The woman also reported that the man offered minor gifts if she let him sexually assault her.
The 20th of August is the date of his subsequent court hearing as reported by a local news outlet Nebraska TV.
