A Marquette woman is scheduled to appear in court on Monday in connection with the tragic death of a four-month-old baby girl.
According to court records, Tiffany Cure, who is 20 years old, is facing charges of felony child abuse resulting in death. She is currently being held on a bond of $750,000. She is scheduled to make her first appearance in Hamilton County Court on Monday.
A sheriff’s deputy discovered an unresponsive baby girl at a residence in Marquette on August 6, according to court records. Upon further examination, it was discovered that the child had sustained two skull fractures.
The deputy also mentioned that the residence where the baby was found had an unpleasant odor and a pile of dog waste.
