The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) reported that two people, a mother and daughter, were detained in Okmulgee for allegedly sexually exploiting a youngster.
The Okmulgee Police Department asked the OSBI to look into a child sexual abuse investigation on Monday.
The OSBI stated that earlier that day, an individual reported to authorities the creation of child sexual abuse material from an Okmulgee residence.
OSBI special agents launched an investigation and identified the two suspects as Jennifer Ann Prescott, 31, and her mother, Sharon Ann Mitchell, 56.
Prescott and Mitchell were found to be living with two youngsters, one of whom they were sexually exploiting.

Their bonds are valued at $100,000. The two youngsters were placed in the custody of the Department of Human Services (DHS) and are currently safe, according to the OSBI. This is a continuing investigation.
“The OSBI would like to thank the Okmulgee Police Department, Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police Department, and the Department of Human Services for assisting us with this investigation,” according to the OSBI.
