A heartbreaking incident occurred in Manhattan as a man lost his life due to a fatal stabbing in the neck. Alongside him, a woman was stabbed in the leg and another man was knifed in the lower back. The incident took place near Avenue A and East 14th Street around 5:45 p.m., according to the police.

The woman’s condition is critical, while the younger man’s condition is stable.
A 30-year-old man was apprehended by the authorities at the location, according to law enforcement officials. There have been no charges filed against him at this time.
The NYPD also recovered a “cutting instrument.”
After a triple stabbing incident, the sidewalk was stained with pools of blood, while various items such as litter and clothes were scattered around.
After the tragic incident, Council Member Keith Powers expressed concern about the escalating violence and crime in the area. He emphasized the need for a stronger police presence to address the situation, describing it as a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
The situation on 14th St is becoming increasingly chaotic… The current conditions on the street are simply not acceptable,” he stated to The Post.
“It is crucial for all elected officials and agencies to come together and address these issues. We require a strong and committed NYPD presence to combat illicit activities, consistent enforcement against illegal vendors, ongoing efforts to tackle trash and sanitation cleanup, and additional measures,” Powers emphasized.
Authorities have not yet disclosed any details regarding the motive behind the stabbing. It remains uncertain whether there was any link between the victims.
