Man Molested Child on a Daily-Basis for 3-Years; Lands in Jail after Abuse Videos Busted by Iowa Authorities

Honk News (Davenport, IA) – A Davenport man, previously sentenced in November 2023 for multiple charges related to child pornography, is now facing additional allegations of having sexually abused a child over several years.

Jail records indicate that Damon Fetes, 29, was taken into custody on January 29 facing multiple serious charges, including two counts of felony indecent contact with a child, two counts of felony lascivious acts with a child, two counts of felony sexual abuse for continuous abuse of a child, and one count of felony sexual exploitation of a minor related to promoting materials.

The legal document outlines that from July 2020 to June 2023, Fetes engaged in ongoing sexual abuse of the same child, occurring nearly every day over several years. The incidents occurred between the victim’s seventh and tenth years, culminating in Fetes being convicted for child pornography.

The incidents of abuse occurred at the child’s home as well as at Fetes’ residences, all located within Scott County. Details of the abuse emerged during several interviews conducted at the Child Protection Response Center with a forensic interviewer.

Fetes is currently in custody at the Scott County Jail without the option for bond. On January 30, he faced arraignment and pleaded not guilty.
